Saudi Arabia calls for an immediate end to the war in Sudan.

October 12, 2025 (PEN) - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned and denounced the "heinous attack" targeting a shelter for displaced persons in the city of El Fasher, reiterating its rejection of all forms of violence against civilians.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for an immediate end to the war in Sudan, preserving the unity of the country and its institutions, and sparing its people further suffering and destruction.

The Ministry also stressed the need to protect civilians and implement what was agreed upon in the Jeddah Declaration for the Protection of Civilians signed on May 11, 2023.

The Kingdom also expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
