Humanitarian Aid announces the cessation of about 3,000 humanitarian organizations operating in Sudan

December 9, 2023 (SPA) The Humanitarian Aid Commission revealed the complete cessation of about 3,000 humanitarian organizations actively operating in Sudan, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The Commission explained, according to SPA, during the enlightening forum on humanitarian response operations in light of the current circumstances, which concluded its work yesterday evening in the city of Port Sudan, eastern Sudan, that “about 3,000 humanitarian organizations have stopped, including about 2,900 local national organizations and about 110 foreign organizations, and more than 10 UN agencies and regional organizations working in humanitarian affairs, since last May.
