MSF is concerned about the rise in water-borne diseases and malaria in White Nile state

Doctors Without Borders said that White Nile state has received increasing numbers of people fleeing conflict. She said that 9 camps host hundreds of thousands of people, mostly women and children. She stated that the situation is critical, especially with suspected cases of measles and malnutrition in children, which are the most urgent health problems, as she put it.

The organization stated that with the arrival of more displaced people, there is an urgent need to increase aid and expand the range of services such as vaccination, food support, shelter, water and sanitation.

Doctors Without Borders expressed concern about the rise in waterborne diseases and malaria endemic in the region.
