Taqaddam coordination meeting selects Abdullah Hamdok as head of the coordination

May 30, 2024 (PEN) The new leadership body for the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces “Taqadum” announced in its first meeting the unanimous selection of Dr. Abdullah Hamdok as Chairman of the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces “Taqadum.”

The founding conference meetings began last Monday, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, with the discussion of a number of papers, most notably the political vision for coordination, the discussion of humanitarian issues, and the mechanism to stop the ongoing war in the country since April of last year.
