United Nations: Sudan faces a huge humanitarian crisis one year into the conflict

The office stated that the Sudanese people are paying a heavy price for the ongoing fighting, noting that without urgent international action, this disaster could sweep the country and the entire region.

There has been a conflict in Sudan between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces for more than a year, which has led to a catastrophic deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
