The United Nations blacklists the army and the Rapid Support Forces for violating children's rights

June 12, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations has included the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces fighting in Sudan on its blacklist related to violations of children’s rights in conflicts, according to an annual report of the Secretary-General seen by Agence France-Presse yesterday, Tuesday.

The report, which will be officially published on Thursday, according to media sources, notes “a staggering increase of 480 percent” in the number of serious violations against children in this country between the years 2022 and 2023.
