The Secretary-General of the Medical and Health Professions Council visits Khartoum.

September 6, 2025 (PEN) - Dr. Zaki Mohamed Al-Bashir, Secretary-General of the Sudanese National Council for Medical and Health Professions, visited Khartoum State as part of an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the digital transformation and preparations for the unified activity on September 13.

During his meeting with the head of the branch office, Dr. Ayman Youssef Arbab, and the office's members, the Secretary-General reviewed the progress of the electronic registration process and heard about the challenges posed by the shortage of staff and equipment. He directed the office to be supported with an additional accountant and a laptop.

He also called for enhanced coordination with the state government and relevant authorities, stressing the importance of their participation in the unified activity. The inspection tour includes five states, including Khartoum.
