EU provides support to address humanitarian crisis in Sudan

October 1, 2024 (PEN) The European Union Ambassador to Sudan, Aidan O'Hara, announced in a tweet on the (X) platform that Sudan is facing severe floods and the spread of the cholera epidemic, which is further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis resulting from the war.

O'Hara explained that the European Union, through the Office for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, will provide 200,000 euros in aid to provide shelter, water, health, sanitation and other essential assistance to those in need.
