The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns an attack targeting the UNISFA mission in Kadugli.

December 15, 2025 (PEN) The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Monday the attack that targeted the logistics support center of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) in Kadugli, South Kordofan State, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims of the attack, and stressing the importance of the unity and territorial integrity of Sudan.

In this context, the Sudanese army announced last Saturday that 6 people were killed and 7 others were injured, accusing the Rapid Support Forces of being responsible for the attack, while the Rapid Support Forces denied any connection to the incident.

According to Anadolu News Agency, this is the first attack of its kind targeting the UN mission in the disputed Abyei region between Sudan and South Sudan.
