The Qatari Foreign Ministry reaffirms its support for the Sudanese people

March 13, 2024 (Pen) The official spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Dr. Majid Al-Ansari, stressed the State of Qatar’s support for Sudan, its constant standing by the people in this crisis, and its keenness to preserve Sudan’s security, stability, unity and territorial integrity.

In statements to reporters, Al-Ansari referred to the visit of the Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation, Lulua Al-Khater, to Sudan and her meetings with a number of officials and directors of UN and international humanitarian agencies and organizations there and her supervision of the distribution of 50,000 food baskets to needy families.

He explained that the Qatari air bridge to Sudan included 13 aircraft carrying more than 394 tons of aid.
