The Algerian President calls for an end to the conflict in Sudan and for the language of dialogue to prevail

20 September 2023 (pen) Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said during his address to the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly that the worrying situation in Sudan calls on all parties to stop the conflict in Sudan.

President Abdul Majid also called for the primacy of the language of dialogue to end the state of fighting and its repercussions on the humanitarian situation in Sudan.

The conflict in Sudan since April 15 between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces has killed more than 5,000 people and displaced millions, according to United Nations reports.
