21- 7- 2023 (PEN) The US Embassy in Al Khotoum expressed its outrage over a report of an attack on paramedics while they were carrying out their heroic work to help those in need amid the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

The embassy has called on the warring parties in Sudan to fulfill their obligations under international law and the Jeddah Declaration to ensure the safety of medical personnel and their facilities.

It is noteworthy that a team from Doctors Without Borders was attacked and robbed after they were stopped by a group of armed men near the Turkish Hospital, according to the organization's statement.
