The Red Cross provides Kassala Military Hospital with medical supplies

May 26, 2024 (PEN) The International Committee of the Red Cross announced that it has provided the military hospital in Kassala State with the necessary medical supplies, with the aim of strengthening the hospital’s capabilities in treating patients and wounded affected by the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

The International Committee of the Red Cross, which has been working in Sudan since 1978, confirmed that this support comes as part of a series of efforts it has been making since April 2023 to assist areas affected by the conflict. These efforts include supplying vital medical supplies to hospitals located near or within conflict areas.
