The Red Cross facilitates the release of 64 children in West Darfur

December 3, 2023 (pen) The International Committee of the Red Cross said that yesterday, Saturday, it facilitated the release of 64 children in El Geneina, West Darfur, at the request of the Rapid Support Forces, where they were reunited with their families in Ardamata.

The International Committee stated that it provides its services to all parties to the conflict by playing the role of a neutral mediator in facilitating the release of detainees.

It is noteworthy that the International Committee of the Red Cross has participated in humanitarian interventions since the outbreak of the conflict last April 15 between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
