May 29, 2024 (PEN) The International Committee of the Red Cross, in cooperation with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, provided the Nile River State Water Authority in the city of Atbara with seven motorized submersible pumps.

The committee indicated that this assistance will enable the authority to provide clean and safe water to 100,000 people.
