The Red Cross distributes humanitarian aid to the displaced in Kassala

January 3, 2024 (PEN) The International Committee of the Red Cross said that it has begun distributing food and sanctuary aid to 2,800 displaced families from various affected states to Kassala.

This comes in response to the basic needs of people affected by the conflict in Sudan, according to what the committee stated.

It is noteworthy that the International Committee of the Red Cross has participated in humanitarian interventions since the start of the conflict in Sudan on April 15, 2023 between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
