The Red Cross distributes aid to the displaced in El Fasher

January 16, 2024 (PEN) The International Committee of the Red Cross distributed basic household supplies to about 4,800 displaced people in El Fasher who fled the city of Nyala as a result of the conflict.

This aid comes in cooperation with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, and includes blankets, sleeping mats, and hygiene supplies.

It is noteworthy that the International Committee of the Red Cross has participated in humanitarian interventions since the outbreak of the conflict on April 15.
