The Red Cross facilitates the release of 30 children at the request of the army

September 16, 2023 (pen) The International Committee of the Red Cross said that, at the request of the Sudanese Armed Forces, it yesterday facilitated the release of 30 children.

The International Committee of the Red Cross stated that it had organized the safe transportation of children from Khartoum to Wad Madani and was playing the role of a neutral mediator, according to what the committee stated, adding that the children had become under the care of the Ministry of Social Development.

The Red Cross added that the children's health was checked, they were provided with clothes and hygiene supplies, and they will be supported to reconnect with their families.
