The United Nations Population Fund confirms the need of more than 3.5 million women and girls for humanitarian services

February 14, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Population Fund said that Sudan is facing the largest internal displacement crisis in the world.

The Fund stated in a tweet via its account on (x) that the number of internally displaced persons is estimated at 9.05 million people.

The United Nations Fund confirmed that there are more than 3.5 million women and girls of reproductive age in urgent need of health services and humanitarian assistance.
