Kuwait condemns violations against civilians in El Fasher

October 29, 2025 (PEN) The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the grave violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces as a result of their targeting of unarmed civilians in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur State, stressing its full solidarity with Sudan in the face of these attacks.

The ministry stressed in its statement the need to provide protection for civilians and ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to the principles of international humanitarian law and relevant Security Council resolutions, in accordance with the Jeddah Declaration of 2023.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry also stressed Kuwait’s firm position calling for an immediate cessation of violence and prioritizing dialogue, in order to contribute to achieving security and stability in Sudan.
