Kuwait sends fifth plane to aid Sudan as part of humanitarian air bridge

August 26, 2024 (PEN) The Kuwait Red Crescent Society announced the departure of the fifth plane within the Kuwaiti airlift to provide relief to Sudan.
The plane carries 30 tons of food, relief supplies and tents to help those displaced within Sudan due to ongoing conflicts, floods and rain.

Anwar Al-Hasawi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the State of Kuwait continues its humanitarian efforts to stand by the brotherly Sudanese people to help them overcome the current difficult circumstances.
