The UNHCR announces the arrival of trucks loaded with relief to North Darfur

June 11, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has confirmed the arrival of 3 trucks loaded with essential relief items in North Darfur after weeks of waiting.

The Commission stated that its partner will begin distribution to 1,140 needy families in the Umm Baru and Kornoy localities. Stressing that cross-border operations from Chad are vital for those affected in Darfur and Sudan.
