IOM Delivers Aid to More Than 30,000 People in Omdurman

September 14, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Migration Agency (IOM) announced today that it has been able to deliver essential relief items to more than 30,000 of the most vulnerable individuals in Omdurman, Khartoum, despite the significant challenges posed by the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

The organization explained that the delivery process was carried out in cooperation with its local partner, Human Appeal, stressing the importance of the support provided by the United States Agency for International Development in the success of these humanitarian efforts.
