International Migration distributes life-saving aid in Khartoum

June 27, 2024 (PEN) In light of the challenges facing reaching those affected in Khartoum, the International Organization for Migration announced the provision of life-saving humanitarian assistance to 25,000 individuals from vulnerable groups in cooperation with its partner, Human Appeal. This assistance was financed by the United Nations Emergency Response Fund and country co-financing funds.

The International Organization for Migration, in cooperation with Human Appeal, also confirmed its presence on the ground in Dongola to distribute non-food items, with the aim of reaching 5,000 individuals by next week. This support comes thanks to funding from the United States Agency for International Development.
