IOM: 15,000 families displaced from Al-Maliha, North Darfur

March 25, 2025 (PEN) The International Organization for Migration announced on Monday that 15,000 families have been displaced from the town of Al-Maliha in North Darfur State, western Sudan, due to clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.

The organization explained in a statement that the displacement took place last Thursday and Friday, with most families relocating to other locations within the state amid escalating clashes.
