The Turkish Red Crescent is stepping up its relief operations in support of displaced people in Sudan.

November 18, 2025 (pen) The Turkish Red Crescent said it has stepped up its efforts to provide food aid to displaced people affected by the escalating conflict in Sudan.

According to a statement issued by the Turkish Red Crescent on Monday and reported by Anadolu News Agency, the Turkish organization has accelerated its relief efforts, providing food aid to tens of thousands of displaced people in Sudan.

She added that Red Crescent teams were rapidly deployed in the city of Al-Dabba to provide food support to civilians living in the camps.

The statement said that the escalation of the conflict in Sudan since 2023 has forced tens of thousands to flee their homes in El Fasher, the largest city in the Darfur region of western Sudan.

He noted that most of the displaced civilians, who faced difficult conditions, sought refuge in the city of Al-Dabba in the Northern State.

The statement said that those wishing to support the Red Crescent's efforts to provide humanitarian aid in Sudan can donate 20 Turkish lira (about half a dollar) by sending a text message to the number 2868 containing the word "SUDAN".

Donations can also be made through all branches of the Turkish Red Crescent throughout Turkey, or via the website www.kizilay.org.tr , or by calling 168, or through the Turkish Red Crescent's bank accounts.
