Japan and the Intergovernmental Authority "IGAD" discuss the Sudan crisis

June 12, 2024 (PEN) The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Dr. Workneh Gebeho, discussed the Sudanese crisis with Japanese Foreign Minister, Kamikawa Yoko, in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

Gebeho said in his tweet on (X) : “We agreed to continue our cooperation for sustainable peace, gender-responsive policies, and more specifically to work together to resolve the conflict in the Republic of Sudan.”
