UNICEF delivers 60 metric tons of health and nutrition supplies from the Chad border to West Darfur

September 30, 2023 (pen) The United Nations Children’s Fund said that it has delivered 60 metric tons of health and nutrition supplies from the Chad border to West Darfur so far.

UNICEF stated that these life-saving supplies come with support from the Office of Humanitarian Assistance of the United States Agency for International Development and Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid in the European Union.

According to UNICEF, facilities have been restocked and nearly 300,000 children and family members have been reached with health and nutrition services.
