UNICEF warns of a disaster threatening children in Sudan

January 11, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Children’s Fund said that the ongoing war in Sudan has forced about 3.5 million children to flee their homes, while more than 14 million children need protection, education and other services.

UNICEF confirmed in its tweet to (X) that there is a need to take measures to prevent a generational disaster from occurring in Sudan.

The organization explained that children are in dire need of more attention and support in 2024.
