Patrick Youssef: Proactive measures must be taken to avoid loss of life in El Fasher

26 May 2024 (PEN) Patrick Youssef, Regional Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross, expressed his deep concern about the evolving armed conflict in El Fasher, North Darfur. He urgently called on all parties to take proactive and clear measures to avoid loss of life, especially among those who have nowhere to flee.

Youssef said in his tweet on (X) : “We urgently call on all parties to take proactive and clear measures to avoid the loss of lives, especially those who have nowhere to run to! Relief and health workers must be protected.”
