Blinken and Bin Zayed stress the importance of ending the conflict in Sudan

January 8, 2024 (PEN) US Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, stressed the importance of ending the conflict in Sudan and preventing more widespread civilian damage.

This came during a tour by the US Secretary of State to a number of countries to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The two sides affirmed their common vision for a safer and more prosperous region. Emphasizing the importance of the strategic partnership between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
