Blinken and Guterres discuss ways to end violence in Sudan and protect civilians

June 5, 2024 (PEN) US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, discussed the developments of the conflict in Sudan with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in Washington, DC.

The two sides stressed the importance of taking all measures to end the violence in Sudan, protect civilians, and increase humanitarian aid.

The two sides also discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and the war in Ukraine.
