Paul: The United States is committed to ending the conflict in Sudan.

November 20, 2025 (pen) The US President's senior advisor on African affairs, Massad Boulos, affirmed that the United States is committed to ending the horrific conflict in Sudan.

Paul explained in a tweet on the X platform that the US administration, led by President Donald Trump, is working with its partners to facilitate a humanitarian truce and stop external military support to the warring parties that is fueling the violence.

Paul added that achieving peace and stability will enable the Sudanese people to return to civilian rule in a unified Sudan, stressing that Trump is seeking to achieve peace, and that action is currently underway in cooperation with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
