Justin Brady: The Sudanese people must be at the heart of the humanitarian response

June 4, 2024 (PEN) The head of the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan, Justin Brady, said that there is no doubt that they face the possibility of the death of tens of thousands of Sudanese in the coming months, and even hundreds of thousands of them.

He added in his tweet on (X) that the main thing here is that the people of Sudan remain at the heart of the response, and that the warring parties adhere to their obligations to ensure that civilians receive the assistance they need.
