During his speech at the United Nations, the Emir of Qatar calls on the Sudanese parties to stop fighting

September 24, 2024 (PEN) The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, called on all Sudanese parties to stop fighting in the country.

This came during the general discussions of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, where he affirmed the State of Qatar's support for all regional and international efforts to end the crisis in a way that ensures the unity of state institutions and the sovereignty and stability of Sudan.
