Reuters: Britain imposes sanctions on Mikhail Potepkin, director of the mining company (Moroe Gold), which is linked to Wagner

7-20- 2023 (Reuters) Britain today, Thursday, imposed sanctions on 13 individuals and companies in the Central African Republic, Mali and Sudan with links to the Russian Wagner Group.

Britain has added Mikhail Potepkin to the sanctions list, who it said is linked to the Wagner Group, as well as being a director of the mining company Meroe Gold.
Meroe Gold was among three companies the government said it had sanctioned in Sudan for acting as fronts for the Wagner Group and threatening peace and security. It added that Meroe Gold had imported equipment, including weapons, helicopters and military trucks.
