Shukri and Ben Farhan discuss developments in the situation in Sudan

January 28, 2024 (PEN) Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed today, Sunday, with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the developments of events in Sudan.

During their talks in Cairo, the two sides stressed the necessity of a ceasefire to deliver humanitarian aid to the Sudanese and in preparation for launching a political path to resolve the Sudanese crisis.

Shukri and Bin Farhan also discussed the course of events in the Horn of Africa, especially with regard to Somalia and the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
