UNFPA holds a mobile clinic in North Darfur

January 11, 2024 (PEN) The United Nations Population Fund deployed a mobile clinic in North Darfur State, Dar es Salaam Locality, in response to the needs of more than 3,000 people, providing care, health awareness, and protection services to them.

This comes as part of the Fund's response to the increase in maternal deaths due to the spread of malaria and dengue fever in the state.

It is noteworthy that the United Nations Population Fund has participated in humanitarian interventions since the outbreak of the conflict in Sudan on April 15 between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
