Clementine Salami: Parties to the conflict must do more to spare civilians the devastating effects of this war

6 September 2023 (pen) - In less than 5 months of conflict in Sudan, more than 5 million people have fled the fighting, said UNITAMS Deputy Chief of Mission Clementine Nkwita Salami.

Clementine Salami said in a tweet on (X) that in Khartoum, Nyala and beyond, people are still losing their lives and homes.
"Parties to the conflict must do more to spare civilians the devastating effects of this war."
