Emergency Lawyers condemns the continued indiscriminate bombing of the South Belt

February 25, 2024 (PEN) The Emergency Lawyers Group confirmed the continuation of indiscriminate bombing of the South Belt area in Khartoum, where a torrent of artillery shells led to the death of seven people and the injury of three others.

The group expressed its condemnation of the continuation of what it described as heinous massacres targeting innocent people, which deepens the humanitarian crisis, as it added that communications and Internet outages are still prevalent while the shortage of food and medical services continues.

She said that the interruption of communications and Internet services hampers efforts to monitor and document the daily violations to which civilians are exposed as a result of the ongoing war.
