Director of Operations at OCHA: Time is running out for the Sudanese and the world cannot remain silent

4 May 2024 (PEN) People in Sudan have run out of time, said Edem Wesorno, Director of Operations and Advocacy at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Edem stressed that the world cannot stand idly by and watch civilians in Sudan continue to endure total devastation.

The United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs indicated that every day that the conflict continues in Sudan, humanitarian needs increase.
