An informed source to Al-Shaab newspaper: Rapid Support Forces attack villages near the Jelei refinery

August 4, 2024 (PEN) A source told the electronic newspaper "Al-Shaab" that citizens in the suburbs of the city of Bahri in the villages located near the Jelei refinery were subjected to attacks and looting by the Rapid Support Forces.

The source said that thousands of citizens had fled their homes after the Rapid Support Forces invaded the villages, and they were in a state of confusion about where to go next.

He also called on local and international organizations to take action and provide urgent support to those displaced from their villages.
