The Netherlands condemns the Rapid Support Forces' attacks on civilians in and around El Fasher.

31 October 2025 (PEN) The Kingdom of the Netherlands expressed its support for the United Nations' condemnation of the ongoing attacks by the Rapid Support Forces on civilians and humanitarian workers in and around El Fasher.

The Dutch Foreign Ministry expressed its deep concern over credible reports of widespread violations, including summary executions, sexual violence and preventing civilians from accessing safe areas.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Rapid Support Forces to immediately cease these atrocities and to abide by international humanitarian law, stressing the need to hold those responsible for these violations accountable.

The Netherlands reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with international partners to protect civilians and support those affected by the conflict in Sudan.
