The French Foreign Minister describes the war in Sudan as one of the worst humanitarian crises

April 3, 2024 (PEN) French Foreign Minister Stephane Ségourney said that he discussed with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken the issue of the war in Sudan, describing it as one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

He indicated during a joint press conference that France, Germany, and the European Union will organize a major humanitarian conference in the French capital, Paris, on April 15.

He stated that they need to be mobilized in order to work on this crisis that the media and political leaders have forgotten. Adding that he can rely on Blinken and the United States to strengthen the humanitarian conference and ensure its success for those in need.
