The delegation of political and civil leaders in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, meets with a number of diplomats residing in Ethiopia

The delegation of Sudanese political, civil and professional leaders, who is in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, met on Sunday with a number of diplomats residing in Ethiopia, including representatives of the United States of America, Britain, France, Italy, Norway and Sweden.

The meeting discussed developments in the political situation in Sudan following the outbreak of the war on April 15, where the Sudanese side reviewed the deterioration of the security, humanitarian, economic, social and political situation in the country, and the expansion of the war, and urged the international community to exert more efforts to coordinate in order to advance international and regional initiatives to stop the war in Sudan and providing humanitarian support for the millions of Sudanese men and women affected by the war.

The delegation will continue its meetings with a number of Sudanese and international actors in the coming days in order to advance efforts to stop the war in Sudan, according to the delegation's official spokesman.
