The Saudi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives Ramtane Lamamra and they discuss the situation in Sudan

February 7, 2024 (PEN) The Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati, received the UN Secretary-General’s envoy to Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra.

The two sides reviewed the latest developments in the situation in Sudan, and also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the United Nations and the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

The UN envoy toured a number of countries during the recent period. During his meeting with officials, he explained the conditions that Sudan has been going through since the outbreak of the conflict between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces in mid-April.
