A campaign in Al Qadarif to combat malaria and dengue fever vectors

August 10, 2026 (PEN) The Ministry of Health in Al-Qadarif State launched a large-scale field campaign to combat malaria and dengue fever vectors, targeting 58 neighborhoods in Al-Qadarif Municipality and lasting for two weeks.

The campaign aims to reduce the spread of disease-carrying mosquitoes through fogging operations, removal of mosquito breeding sites, and raising public awareness of preventive measures.

The campaign comes amid warnings of rain and floods in the coming days, which increase the chances of mosquito breeding and the spread of disease-carrying organisms.

Health authorities urged citizens to cooperate with the campaign teams and follow health guidelines to reduce the incidence of malaria and dengue fever.
