Qatar condemns the targeting of a hospital in White Nile State

April 5, 2026 (PEN) The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Rapid Support Forces’ targeting of the hospital in the city of Al-Jabalain in the White Nile State, which resulted in deaths and injuries, including medical personnel.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement today, considered the targeting of the hospital a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which aims to ensure the safety of patients and medical staff working in hospitals and to preserve health facilities in times of war, and called on the international community to take urgent action to protect civilian objects.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Sudan, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
