Bin Zayed's advisor calls for ceasefire, political process in Sudan

November 11, 2024 (PEN) - Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, stressed during his keynote speech at the 11th Abu Dhabi Strategic Forum, held under the theme “The Illusion of Stability: A World in Turmoil,” the importance of a ceasefire in Sudan and the need to start a political process leading to the formation of a civilian government.

Gargash pointed out that protecting Sudan's sovereignty and providing urgent humanitarian support are urgent priorities in light of the current situation.
