Qatari-Jordanian discussions to stop the fire in Gaza

November 2, 2023 (pen) Arab discussions to reach solutions to a ceasefire in Gaza, this came during the meeting of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, with the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The Qatari and Jordanian sides discussed and exchanged views on advancing regional and international diplomatic efforts to demand an immediate ceasefire and the protection of civilians in Gaza, and to work hard to achieve a just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian cause in a radical and final manner.”

Sheikh Tamim affirmed the firm position of the State of Qatar on the Palestinian issue and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially their right to establish an independent Palestinian state.
